Working in Itemized view

Itemized view is a flat, spreadsheet-style list of every piece of equipment and conduit run in a Monterra project. It is the fastest way to spec a job when site geometry does not matter.

Switch between Site Plan and Itemized

The top toolbar has a view toggle with two options:

• Site Plan, satellite canvas with markers placed at real coordinates
• Itemized, flat list grouped into Equipment and Raceway tables

Click the toggle to swap. The current selection sticks until you change it.

Add a row

Open New Item in the top toolbar and pick an equipment type. The row drops straight into the Equipment table. No map click needed.

For conduit and trenching, open the conduit menu and pick a run type. The row appears in the Raceway table with a default length you can edit.

Edit inline

Each Equipment row has three editable columns:

• Type, the category (charger, transformer, panel, and so on)
• Subtype, the specific catalog model
• Quantity, how many of this item to install

Raceway rows expose run type, conduit and wire selection, and length.

For everything else (footprint, electrical attributes, cost overrides, notes), click the pencil on a row to open the Inspector. Changes save as you type.

When to use Itemized view

Itemized view is preferable when:

• You are pricing a job from a bill of materials and the site plan is not ready.
• You need to bulk-adjust quantities or swap subtypes across many rows.
• The customer only needs a quote, not a drawing.

Stay in Site Plan when run lengths come from the map, when you are placing chargers against a real parking layout, or when the project includes a site plan deliverable.

Return to Site Plan

Click the view toggle again and pick Site Plan. Anything added in Itemized view appears on the map at a default location near the project address. Drag markers into position from there.
